In the mid 90’s Todd started his drumming career in his original rock band TODDO. During this time he would write the lyrics for 7 out of 10 songs on the cd and lay down drum tracks in prep for their cd And You Thought Rock Was Dead. In 97 Todd would leave to do a solo band DOWN N DIRTY.
Down n Dirty was another original project that was short lived. After the end of that band Todd searched for the next project to catch his eye.
Roxxon was the next band for Todd doing covers with some originals thrown in. This band was also short lived. Todd would struggle with the thought of what was next.
One summer day Todd decided to take a trip to visit the grave of his hero Eric Carr. On this visit although he may not have known at the time but it would be the answer he was searching for. On his visit he felt a presents the whole time during the visit. In these days he still used a camera for taking pictures much like Eric did. He took several photos and at the end of the visit touched Eric’s name. He felt a surge of energy pass through the name and his arm as he asked Eric “ what’s next for me. “
Todd then walked to his car and standing at the bumper of it was a goose that stood there looking directly at him. Was this a sign? Todd tried to shew it away but it did not move. Todd jokingly said “ Eric move “ and it started honking uncontrollably . Todd then got in his car and drove down the long lane as the goose followed. He watched in the mirror as it vanished in thin air. He wondered what was going on. He got home and developed his photos he took from the trip and the answer he was searching for was there. On the blank stone next to Eric was the image of his famous Fox makeup. This was the sign from Eric to carry on the legacy. In 2011 this would happen.
In 2011 Todd would promote the Rockheads comic for ericcarr.com. This was a cartoon started by Eric Carr that the family would turn into a comic. After this successful promotion of the comic, Todd would become a fixture with ericcarr.com. He would appear at Kiss expos with ericcarr.com promoting and selling the latest Eric Carr merchandise created by Eric’s family.
During this time Todd would also do select appearances with Kiss tributes and perform an Eric Carr version of Black Diamond. Giving fans a flash back to the days of Eric the Fox Carr behind the drums.
In 2020 Todd was approached by Carrie Stevens ( Eric Carr’s longtime girlfriend ) for use of photos Carrie and Todd took at a Kiss expo. They would end up being used for her memoir Unrated Revelations of a Rock n Roll Centerfold.
